I used 'surgical', b/c this photo suggests surgical action. not in a direct way, no, not b/c the tree is half-dead. i was referring to the minute details, to the almost cruel way truth is pictured here. this photo is like a detailed description, an analysis. i hope you get my thoughts.

Ah! Ok, I think I was referring to the nature of the tree damage, in that it was possibly caused by an electrical storm.
